Information is important. The way it is communicated is critical to ensure that the end user is able to digest it easily, and understand it. Copy on its own is difficult to take in. A smart layout is helpful, and often makes the difference in getting your message successfully relayed. A good balance between branding, simple text (less is always more!), imagery and iconography makes for a pleasant reading experience, and helps in positioning your brand as a memorable one. It’s also important to ensure that documentation is easy to consume on both desktops and mobile devices, and is printer friendly (you don’t to be depleting an ink cartridge with your smart dark background designs).
